Stribe are an aggressive race who are only now recovering from a war they had with the Minbari some 200 years ago. Information available suggests that the Stribe were present during the last Great War some 1,000 years ago and are technologically just a step behind the Minbari.

This cruiser, which was responsible for attacking and destroying several ships from the Earth Alliance, Narn Regime and several races in the League of Non-Aligned worlds in 2259.

Stribe are apparently in possession of teleportation technology, not unlike similar technology used by the Vree. Indeed the Stribe bare a striking physical similarity to the Vree, save they have larger heads and vertical red slits in their eyes. Some have suggested that the Stribe may be a breakaway of the Ventukie Conglomerate, a point that the Vree adamantly deny.

Stribe cruiser, which Earth Alliance intelligence had dubbed an "Aggressor class Cruiser" is some 800 meters in length, with polycrystalline hull. Despite the organic appearance of their vessels, Stribe ships are not comprised of bio-armor, rather this appearances is due in most part to design preference.

Stribe cruiser apparently uses a low level gravimetric drive, superior to both the Centauri and the Vree, but only just. Weapons on this class vessel are believed to consist of several strobed anti-proton beams, enhanced via the use of gravimetric technology similar to Minbari weapons.

Stribe are definitely one of the most advanced races encountered. Despite their technological advantage over many races the Stribe have, fortunately, never been a serious military threat due to their limited resources. This was a key factor in their scout mission in 2259, as the Stribe probed for races that they could potentially conquer.

Following a run-in with the Earth Alliance Omega class Destroyer Agamemnon where in which the Stribe Cruiser pictured above was destroyed, the Stribe again retreated back to their own home world. they have not been seen outside their home system since.
