fighter: 21 Zephyr-109 fighters

This makeshift "battle wagon" built by the Raiders was a very small vessel, some 290* meters in length, and used a series of rotating wheels to carry and support up to 21 Belt Alliance Z-109 Zephyr class multi-environment fighters.  This class vessel was used by pirate raiders up until December of 2258, when it was apparently destroyed by an unknown alien vessel following the kidnapping of a Centauri official, who had been visiting Babylon 5.

This vessel was apparently a cobble work of several different vessels, with one small Ion/Particle engine and a hard-dock clamp.  Starfury scans indicate that this vessel had little in the way of armor or weapons, but amazingly enough it was in fact capable of forming a jump point into Hyperspace, making this pirate vessel the smallest ship on record to demonstrate independent jump capabilities by any of the younger races.

Scans from the "Delta" designated Babylon 5 Starfury squadron indicates that this vessel was able to achieve this feet by forgoing all other system in favor of a Hyperspace system.  Essentially little more than a flying jump engine with docking ring and a thruster, this vessel would have only been capable of executing a handful of jumps into Hyperspace, probably no more than six, before exhausting its power systems and her supply of Quantium-40.  NOTE: Reports indicate that the Shadow thrall Morden was somehow involved with the Raiders, and it is believed that this vessel was most likely destroyed by the Shadows.

[*Size based on 16 meter long fighter figure, compared to docking ring clamps]
